Hagaman is a village in Montgomery County, New York, United States. The population was 1,357 at the 2000 census. It is named after Joseph Hagaman, the founding father.
The Village of Hagaman is in the Town of Amsterdam, northeast of the City of Amsterdam.
The community was formerly called “Hagamans Mills.” It was founded around 1777. Village offices are located in the historic Pawling Hall.
The village of Hagaman currently has Martin Natoli as the mayor, with several other trustees serving as a legislature.
Hagaman is located at 42°58′39″N 74°9′2″W / 42.9775°N 74.15056°W / 42.9775; -74.15056 (42.977531, -74.150493).
According to the United States Census Bureau, the village has a total area of 1.5 square miles (3.9 km), all of it land.
As of the census of 2000, there were 1,357 people, 557 households, and 374 families residing in the village. The population density was 880.3 people per square mile (340.2/km²). There were 582 housing units at an average density of 377.5 per square…

We will show you the principles of skateboarding like how to balance, push, turn, proper foot placement, and how to stop. Regardless, of where you are at.. you can benefit from personalized instruction to meet your current skill level.

Skateboarding is a recreational activity, an art form, or a method of transportation. Skateboarding has been molded and influenced by many skateboarders throughout the years. A 2023 report by American Sports Data discovered there were 18.5 million skaters in the world. 85 percent of skateboarders polled who had used a board in the most recent year were under the age of eighteen, and 74 % were male. Those numbers have doubled since then. In the following years the skate parks tripled making skateboarding more accessible as publicly and privately owned skate parks and indoor skate parks are coming into the picture.

The largest change has been the generation that skateboarded in their youth and have grown up with the “X” Games explosion into the world wide mainstream of competitive sports and now sees it as a participation activity for their children as led by X-Games Athletes who are affiliated and instruct for our brand and web site.

How to Start:

  • Equipment: We recommend a board and a full set of safety gear. This includes: a helmet, elbow pads, knee pads, and wrist guards. Rental equipment is available.
  • Location: We can do lessons in your driveway, in your garage, or at the Hagaman skate park.
