Gibraltar ( /dʒɨˈbrɔːltər/) is a British overseas territory located on the southern end of the Iberian Peninsula at the entrance of the Mediterranean. A peninsula with an area of 6.843 square kilometres (2.642 sq mi), it has a northern border with Andalusia, Spain. The Rock of Gibraltar is the major landmark of the region. At its foot is the densely populated city area, home to almost 30,000 Gibraltarians and other nationalities.
An Anglo-Dutch force captured Gibraltar from Spain in 1704 during the War of the Spanish Succession. The territory was subsequently ceded to Britain “in perpetuity” under the Treaty of Utrecht in 1713. It was an important base for the British Royal Navy; today its economy is based largely on tourism, financial services, and shipping.

Skateboarding is a leisure activity, a work of art, or a method of transportation. Skateboarding has been shaped and influenced by many skateboarders throughout the years. A 2023 survey and study by American Sports Data found there are 18.5 million skate boarders in the world. 85 percent of skateboarders polled had used a board in the last year were under the age of eighteen, and 74 percent were male. Those numbers have have doubled since the time of the study. In the coming years the locations of skate parks have more than tripled making it more accessible as privately owned skate parks and indoor skate parks are becoming a reality.

The biggest change has been the generation that skated in their youth and have grown up with the “X” Games explosion into the global mainstream of competitive sports and now sees it as a participation sport for their children led by X-Games Athletes who are affiliated and instruct for our brand and web site.

    How you can start skateboard lessons?

  • Equipment: We recommend a board and a full set of safety gear. This includes: a helmet, elbow pads, knee pads, and wrist guards. Rental equipment is available.
  • Location: We can do lessons in your driveway, in your garage, or at the Gibraltar skate park.
