Fountain Hill is a borough in Lehigh County, Pennsylvania, United States. It is a suburb of Bethlehem, Pennsylvania in the Lehigh Valley region of the state.
The population of Fountain Hill was 4,614 at the 2000 census.
Fountain Hill is located at 40°36′6″N 75°23′47″W / 40.60167°N 75.39639°W / 40.60167; -75.39639 (40.601698, -75.396357).
According to the United States Census Bureau, the borough has a total area of 0.7 square miles (1.8 km), of which, 0.7 square miles (1.8 km) of it is land and 1.41% is water. The Borough is approximately 450 acres (1.8 km), predominantly residential in character, with approximately 1,754 dwelling units. It uses the Bethlehem zip code of 18015.
As of the census of 2010, there were 4,597 people residing in the borough. The racial makeup of the borough was 81.4% White, 6.6% African American, 0.1% Native American, 0.8% Asian, 0.0% Pacific Islander, 7.7% from other races, and 3.4% from two or more races. We will show you the basics of skateboarding like how to balance, push, turn, proper foot placement, and how to stop. Irrespective, of where you are at.. you can benefit from personalized instruction to meet your skill level.

Skateboarding is a recreational activity, a work of art, or a method of transportation. Skateboarding has been shaped and influenced by many skateboarders throughout the years. A 2002 survey and study by American Sports Data found that there are 18.5 million skaters in the world. 85 percent of skateboarders polled who had used a skateboard in the last year were under the age of 18, and 74 percent were male. Those numbers have have doubled since the time of the study. In the ensuing years the actual locations of skate parks tripled making skateboarding more accessible as privately owned skate parks and indoor skate parks are becoming a reality.

The most significant change has been the generation that skated in their youth and have grown up with the “X” Games explosion into the worldwide mainstream of competitive sports and now sees it as a participation sport for their children led by X-Games Athletes who are affiliated and instruct for our brand and web site.

How to Start:

  • Equipment: We recommend a board and a full set of safety gear. This includes: a helmet, elbow pads, knee pads, and wrist guards. Rental equipment is available.
  • Location: We can do lessons in your driveway, in your garage, or at the Fountain Hill skate park.
