Fellsmere is a city in Indian River County, Florida, United States. The population was 3,813 at the 2000 census. As of 2004, the population recorded by the U.S. Census Bureau is 4,658. It is home of the Fellsmere Frog Leg Festival.
Fellsmere is part of the Sebastian–Vero Beach Metropolitan Statistical Area.
Fellsmere is located at 27°46′00″N 80°35′55″W / 27.766771°N 80.598642°W / 27.766771; -80.598642.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 14.0 km² (5.4 mi²). 13.7 km² (5.3 mi²) of it is land and 0.3 km² (0.1 mi²) of it (1.85%) is water.
As of the census of 2000, there were 3,813 people, 865 households, and 718 families residing in the city. The population density was 277.8/km² (719.1/mi²). There were 918 housing units at an average density of 66.9/km² (173.1/mi²). The racial makeup of the city was 60.11% White, 6.69% African American, 0.47% Native American, 0.10% Asian, 0.05% Pacific Islander, 30.68% from other races, and 1.89% from two or more…

Learn all of the fundamentals of skateboarding fast in a one-week camp. We will teach you the principles of skateboarding such as how to balance, push, turn, proper foot placement, and how to stop. In spite, of where you are at.. you can benefit from personalized instruction to meet your skill level.

Skateboarding is a pastime activity, a work of art, or a method of transportation. Skateboarding has been molded and influenced by many skateboarders throughout the ages. A 2002 report by American Sports Data discovered that there were 18.5 million skateboarders in the world. 85 percent of skaters polled had used a board in the most recent year were under the age of 18, and 74 % were male. Those numbers have doubled since then. In the coming years the locations of skate parks tripled making it more accessible as privately owned parks and indoor parks are becoming a reality.

The biggest change has been the generation bubble that skateboarded in their youth and have grown up with the “X” Games explosion into the world wide mainstream of competitive sports and sees it as a participation sport for their children led by X-Games Athletes who are affiliated and instruct for our brand and web site.

How you can start skateboard lessons?

  • Equipment: We recommend a board and a full set of safety gear. This includes: a helmet, elbow pads, knee pads, and wrist guards. Rental equipment is available.
  • Location: We can do lessons in your driveway, in your garage, or at the Fellsmere skate park.
