Farmingville is a hamlet (and census-designated place) in Suffolk County, New York, United States. The population was 16,458 at the 2000 census.
Farmingville is in the Town of Brookhaven. The Brookhaven Town Hall is on the east side of Bald Hill in the community.
Sachem High School East is located in Farmingville.
The first settlement in what is now called Farmingville occurred in the late 18th century, and was called Bald Hills and Mooney Ponds, before it eventually was called Farmingville (though the soil and hills are not good for agriculture). It did not have its own post office until 1950.
The home of Elijah Terry, the first teacher in the local school, was built in 1823 and sits next to the Bald Hills Schoolhouse, built in 1850. The schoolhouse is in the National Register of Historic Places.

We will show you the basics of skateboarding such as how to balance, push, turn, proper foot placement, and how to stop. Irrespective, of where you are at.. you can benefit from customized instruction to meet your current skill level.

Skateboarding is a recreational activity, an art form, or a method of transportation. Skateboarding has been designed and influenced by many skateboarders throughout the ages. A 2023 report by American Sports Data found that there were 18.5 million skateboarders in the world. 85 percent of skateboarders polled had used a skateboard in the last year were under the age of eighteen, and 74 % were male. Those numbers have doubled since then. In the ensuing years the physical locations of skate parks have more than tripled making it more accessible as privately owned parks and indoor parks are becoming a reality.

The most significant change has been the generation that skated in their youth and have grown up with the “X” Games explosion into the global mainstream of competitive sports and sees it as a participation activity for their children led by X-Games Athletes who are affiliated and instruct for our brand and web site.

How you can start skateboard lessons?

  • Equipment: We recommend a board and a full set of safety gear. This includes: a helmet, elbow pads, knee pads, and wrist guards. Rental equipment is available.
  • Location: We can do lessons in your driveway, in your garage, or at the Farmingville skate park.
