Fairdale is a former census-designated place in southern Jefferson County, Kentucky, United States. The population was 7,658 at the 2000 census. In 2003, the area was annexed to the city of Louisville due to a merger between the city and Jefferson County’s unincorporated community. Fairdale is now a neighborhood within the city limits of Louisville.
Fairdale is located at 38°06′18″N 85°45′32″W / 38.105°N 85.75889°W / 38.105; -85.75889 (38.1051, -85.7589).
According to the United States Census Bureau, the Census Designated Place (CDP) has a total area of 14.84 km² (5.73 mi²), all land.
As of the census of 2000, there were 7,658 people, 2,948 households, and 2,154 families residing in the CDP. The population density was 518.7/km² (1,343.2/mi²). There were 3,059 housing units at an average density of 207.2/km² (536.5/mi²). The racial makeup of the CDP was 96.8% White, 0.89% Black or African American, 0.38% Native American, 0.35% Asian, 0.01% Pacific Islander, 0.35% from other races,…

Discover all of the basic principles of skateboarding quickly in a one-week camp. We will teach you the principles of skateboarding like how to balance, push, turn, proper foot placement, and how to stop. Those numbers have have doubled since the time of the study. In the coming years the physical locations of skate parks have more than tripled making it more accessible as privately owned parks and indoor parks are coming into the picture.

The largest change has been the generation that skated in their youth and have grown up with the “X” Games explosion into the world wide mainstream of competitive sports and now sees it as a natural participation sport for their children as led by X-Games Athletes who are affiliated and instruct for our brand and web site.

How you can start skateboard lessons?

Equipment: We recommend a board and a full set of safety gear. This includes: a helmet, elbow pads, knee pads, and wrist guards. Rental equipment is available.

Location: We can do lessons in your driveway, in your garage, or at the Fairdale skate park.
