Delevan is a village in Cattaraugus County, New York, United States. The population was 1,089 at the 2000 census.
The Village of Delevan lies inside the Town of Yorkshire
The first lot was cleared around 1821. The name of the area was changed from Yorkshire Center to Delevan in 1892. The Village of Delevan was incorporated in 1915.
Delevan is located at 42°29′N 78°29′W / 42.483°N 78.483°W / 42.483; -78.483 (42.4896, -78.4798).
According to the United States Census Bureau, the village has a total area of 1.0 square mile (2.6 km), all of it land.
New York State Route 16 passes through the village. Cattaraugus County Routes 20, 21 and 73 terminate at the village limits.
Yorkshire is north of the community of Lime Lake and south of the community of Yorkshire. Elton Creek joins Lime Lake Outlet west of the village.

We will show you the principles of skateboarding such as how to balance, push, turn, proper foot placement, and how to stop. Irrespective, of where you are at.. you can benefit from personalized instruction to meet your current skill level.

Skateboarding is a recreational activity, a work of art, or a method of transportation. Skateboarding has been molded and influenced by many skateboarders throughout the years. A 2002 report by American Sports Data found that there were 18.5 million skaters in the world. 85 percent of skaters polled had used a skateboard in the last year were under the age of 18, and 74 % were male. Those numbers have doubled since then. In the following years the physical locations of skate parks have more than tripled making it more accessible as publicly and privately owned skate parks and indoor skate parks are coming into the picture.

The biggest change has been the developed generation bubble that skateboarded in their youth and have grown up with the “X” Games explosion into the worldwide mainstream of competitive sports and sees it as a participation sport or art for their children led by X-Games Athletes who are affiliated and instruct for our brand and web site.

How to Start:

  • Equipment: We recommend a board and a full set of safety gear. This includes: a helmet, elbow pads, knee pads, and wrist guards. Rental equipment is available.
  • Location: We can do lessons in your driveway, in your garage, or at the Delevan skate park.
