Cooksville GO Station is a GO Transit railway station on the Milton line in the community of Cooksville in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. It is located at 3210 Hurontario Street, near Dundas and Hurontario Streets.
Like most GO stations, Cooksville has parking for commuters and a station building with a ticket sales agent and a waiting room. It is located near several condominium complexes, which provides ridership on the Milton Line. The 1400-space parking lot allows access to those who live closer to Mississauga City Centre to use the station.
The GO Station is served by seven trains inbound to Union Station in the morning rush hour and seven trains outbound to Milton during the evening rush hour. There is also the Train-Bus during off-peak hours, and a bus service to the University of Guelph via Square One Bus Terminal and Aberfoyle Park & Ride.
Despite growing ridership on the Milton line, GO cannot schedule additional trains because of the busy Canadian Pacific Railway freight…

Do you want to learn how to skateboard?

Be taught all of the fundamentals of skateboarding quickly in a one-week camp. We will teach you the basics of skateboarding like how to balance, push, turn, proper foot placement, and how to stop. Regardless, of where you are at.. you can benefit from individualized instruction to meet your skill level.

Skateboarding is a recreational activity, a work of art, or a method of transportation. Skateboarding has been designed and influenced by many skateboarders throughout the years. A 2002 survey and study by American Sports Data uncovered there were 18.5 million skate boarders in the world. 85 percent of skaters polled had used a skateboard in the most recent year were under the age of eighteen, and 74 percent were male. Those numbers have have doubled since the time of the study. In the coming years the skate parks have more than tripled making skateboarding more accessible as privately owned parks and indoor parks are becoming a reality.

The largest change has been the generation that skated in their youth and have grown up with the “X” Games explosion into the worldwide mainstream of competitive sports and sees it as a natural participation sport or art for their children as led by X-Games Athletes who are affiliated and instruct for our brand and web site.

  • Equipment: We recommend a board and a full set of safety gear. This includes: a helmet, elbow pads, knee pads, and wrist guards. Rental equipment is available.
  • Location: We can do lessons in your driveway, in your garage, or at the Cooksville skate park.
