Colman is a city in Moody County, South Dakota, United States. The population was 594 at the 2010 census.
Colman is located at 43°59′1″N 96°48′48″W / 43.98361°N 96.81333°W / 43.98361; -96.81333 (43.983633, -96.813349).
According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 1.7 square miles (4.4 km), all of it land.
Colman has been assigned the ZIP code 57017 and the FIPS place code 13220.
As of the census of 2000, there were 572 people, 242 households, and 156 families residing in the city. The population density was 344.0 people per square mile (133.0/km²). There were 259 housing units at an average density of 155.7 per square mile (60.2/km²). The racial makeup of the city was 96.85% White, 0.35% Native American, 1.22% Asian, and 1.57% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 1.22% of the population.

Skateboarding is a leisure activity, a work of art, or a method of transportation. Skateboarding has been designed and influenced by many skateboarders throughout the years. A 2002 report by American Sports Data found that there were 18.5 million skate boarders in the world. 85 percent of skateboarders polled who had used a skateboard in the last year were under the age of eighteen, and 74 percent were male. Those numbers have have doubled since the time of the study. In the following years the skate parks tripled making skateboarding more accessible as privately owned skate parks and indoor skate parks are coming into the picture.

The largest change has been the generation bubble that skated in their youth and have grown up with the “X” Games explosion into the global mainstream of competitive sports and now sees it as a natural participation sport for their children as led by X-Games Athletes who are affiliated and instruct for our brand and web site.
