College Corner is a village in the southwestern part of the U.S. state of Ohio in Butler and Preble Counties, five miles northwest of Oxford. It was settled in 1811 and takes its name from its position in the northwestern corner of the “College Township”, the survey township designated the previous year by the Ohio General Assembly as the site of the state college that became Miami University. This survey township was later organized as a civil township, Oxford Township. The population was 424 at the 2000 census.
The village lies on the state line with Indiana and there is a West College Corner, Indiana. The public school is bisected by the state line and is operated jointly with the Indiana authorities.
The Preble County portion of College Corner is part of the Dayton Metropolitan Statistical Area, while the Butler County portion is part of the Cincinnati–Middletown, OH-KY-IN Metropolitan Statistical Area.

Do you want to learn skateboarding?

Is the fear of falling keeping you from progressing? Understand all of the fundamentals of skateboarding fast in a one-week camp. We will teach you the basics of skateboarding such as how to balance, push, turn, proper foot placement, and how to stop. Irrespective, of where you are at.. you can benefit from individualized instruction to meet your skill level.

Skateboarding is a recreational activity, a work of art, or a method of transportation. Skateboarding has been designed and influenced by many skateboarders throughout the years. A 2023 report by American Sports Data uncovered there are 18.5 million skateboarders in the world. 85 percent of skateboarders polled who had used a board in the most recent year were under the age of eighteen, and 74 percent were male. Those numbers have have doubled since the time of the study. In the coming years the skate parks tripled making it more accessible as privately owned skate parks and indoor skate parks are becoming a reality.

The largest change has been the generation bubble that skated in their youth and have grown up with the “X” Games explosion into the worldwide mainstream of competitive sports and now sees it as a participation sport or art for their children as led by X-Games Athletes who are affiliated and instruct for our brand and web site.

  • Equipment: We recommend a board and a full set of safety gear. This includes: a helmet, elbow pads, knee pads, and wrist guards. Rental equipment is available.
  • Location: We can do lessons in your driveway, in your garage, or at the College Corner skate park.
