Cleo Springs is a town in Major County, Oklahoma, United States. The population was 326 at the 2000 census. The post office was established March 21, 1894 and discontinued May 3, 1917. The Sod House Museum, listed on the National Register of Historic Places and also an Oklahoma Historic site, is located north of town in Alfalfa County.
Cleo Springs is located at 36°24′17″N 98°26′28″W / 36.40472°N 98.44111°W / 36.40472; -98.44111 (36.404703, -98.441168).
According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 0.6 square miles (1.6 km), all of it land.
As of the census of 2000, there were 326 people, 135 households, and 90 families residing in the town. The population density was 580.1 people per square mile (224.8/km²). There were 153 housing units at an average density of 272.3 per square mile (105.5/km²). The racial makeup of the town was 98.16% White, 1.53% African American, and 0.31% from two or more races. Do you want to learn how to skateboard?

Learn all of the fundamentals of skateboarding quickly in a one-week camp. We will teach you the basics of skateboarding like how to balance, push, turn, proper foot placement, and how to stop. Irrespective, of where you are at.. you can benefit from customized instruction to meet your current skill level.

Skateboarding is a recreational activity, a work of art, or a method of transportation. Skateboarding has been designed and influenced by many skateboarders throughout the ages. A 2023 report by American Sports Data discovered there were 18.5 million skateboarders in the world. 85 percent of skaters polled who had used a skateboard in the previous year were under the age of eighteen, and 74 % were male. Those numbers have since doubled. In the following years the actual locations of skate parks tripled making skateboarding more accessible as privately owned skate parks and indoor skate parks are becoming a reality.

The most significant change has been the generation that skated in their youth and have grown up with the “X” Games explosion into the global mainstream of competitive sports and sees it as a natural participation sport or art for their children as led by X-Games Athletes who are affiliated and instruct for our brand and web site.

How to Start:

  • Equipment: We recommend a board and a full set of safety gear. This includes: a helmet, elbow pads, knee pads, and wrist guards. Rental equipment is available.
  • Location: We can do lessons in your driveway, in your garage, or at the Cleo Springs skate park.
