Chuluota is a census-designated place and an unincorporated area in Seminole County, Florida, United States. The population was 2,483 at the 2010 Census. It is part of the Orlando–Kissimmee Metropolitan Statistical Area.
Chuluota is located at 28°38′29″N 81°7′28″W / 28.64139°N 81.12444°W / 28.64139; -81.12444 (28.641325, -81.124432).
According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 5.7 km² (2.2 mi²). 4.7 km² (1.8 mi²) of it is land and 1.0 km² (0.4 mi²) of it (17.73%) is water.
As of the census of 2000, there were 1,921 people, 701 households, and 532 families residing in the CDP. The population density was 412.1/km² (1,064.6/mi²). There were 727 housing units at an average density of 155.9/km² (402.9/mi²). The racial makeup of the CDP was 94.53% White, 0.36% African American, 0.88% Native American, 0.57% Asian, 0.05% Pacific Islander, 1.56% from other races, and 2.03% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 5.62% of the population….

A 2002 survey and study by American Sports Data found there were 18.5 million skaters in the world. 85 percent of skateboarders polled had used a board in the most recent year were under the age of eighteen, and 74 % were male. Those numbers have have doubled since the time of the study. In the coming years the skate parks have more than tripled making skateboarding more accessible as privately owned skate parks and indoor skate parks are becoming a reality.

The largest change has been the generation that skateboarded in their youth and have grown up with the “X” Games explosion into the worldwide mainstream of competitive sports and now sees it as a participation sport or art for their children as led by X-Games Athletes who are affiliated and instruct for our brand and web site.
