Burtrum is a city in Todd County, Minnesota, United States. The population was 144 at the 2010 census.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 0.6 square miles (1.6 km), all of it land.
Minnesota State Highway 28 serves as a main route in the community.
As of the census of 2000, there were 146 people, 69 households, and 38 families residing in the city. The population density was 258.2 people per square mile (98.9/km²). There were 82 housing units at an average density of 145.0 per square mile (55.5/km²). The racial makeup of the city was 99.32% White, and 0.68% from two or more races.

Is the fear of falling keeping you from progressing? Find out all of the basic principles of skateboarding quickly in a one-week camp. We will show you the principles of skateboarding such as how to balance, push, turn, proper foot placement, and how to stop. Irrespective, of where you are at.. you can benefit from individualized instruction to meet your current skill level.

Skateboarding is a pastime activity, an art form, or a method of transportation. Skateboarding has been molded and influenced by many skateboarders throughout the years. A 2023 report by American Sports Data discovered there were 18.5 million skate boarders in the world. 85 percent of skateboarders polled had used a skateboard in the last year were under the age of eighteen, and 74 percent were male. Those numbers have since doubled. In the coming years the skate parks have more than tripled making skateboarding more accessible as privately owned parks and indoor parks are coming into the picture.

The most significant change has been the developed generation bubble that skated in their youth and have grown up with the “X” Games explosion into the world wide mainstream of competitive sports and now sees it as a natural participation sport or art for their children led by X-Games Athletes who are affiliated and instruct for our brand and web site.

How you can start skateboard lessons?

  • Equipment: We recommend a board and a full set of safety gear. This includes: a helmet, elbow pads, knee pads, and wrist guards. Rental equipment is available.
  • Location: We can do lessons in your driveway, in your garage, or at the Burtrum skate park.
