Bryn Athyn is a home rule municipality, in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, United States. It was formerly a borough, and its official name remains “Borough of Bryn Athyn”. The population was 1,375 at the 2010 census. It was formed for religious reasons from Moreland Township on February 8, 1916.
Bryn Athyn (Welsh for “very tenacious hill”) is located at 40°8′22″N 75°4′2″W / 40.13944°N 75.06722°W / 40.13944; -75.06722 (40.139539, -75.067169).
According to the United States Census Bureau, the borough has a total area of 1.9 square miles (4.9 km), none of which is covered with water.
As of the 2010 census, Bryn Athyn was 92.5% White, 2.7% Black or African American, 2.5% Asian, 0.1% Native Hawaiian, and 1.8% were two or more races. 1.2% of the population were of Hispanic or Latino ancestry.

We will show you the principles of skateboarding like how to balance, push, turn, proper foot placement, and how to stop. In spite, of where you are at.. you can benefit from personalized instruction to meet your skill level.

Skateboarding is a pastime activity, a work of art, or a method of transportation. Skateboarding has been molded and influenced by many skateboarders throughout the years. A 2023 survey and study by American Sports Data uncovered that there are 18.5 million skate boarders in the world. 85 percent of skaters polled had used a skateboard in the last year were under the age of eighteen, and 74 % were male. Those numbers have have doubled since the time of the study. In the ensuing years the locations of skate parks tripled making skateboarding more accessible as publicly and privately owned skate parks and indoor skate parks are becoming a reality.

The biggest change has been the developed generation that skateboarded in their youth and have grown up with the “X” Games explosion into the global mainstream of competitive sports and sees it as a natural participation activity for their children led by X-Games Athletes who are affiliated and instruct for our brand and web site.

How you can start skateboard lessons?

  • Equipment: We recommend a board and a full set of safety gear. This includes: a helmet, elbow pads, knee pads, and wrist guards. Rental equipment is available.
  • Location: We can do lessons in your driveway, in your garage, or at the Bryn Athyn skate park.
