Brent is a city in Bibb County, Alabama, United States. At the 2000 census the population was 4,024.
Brent is located at 32°56’24.864″ North, 87°10’29.935″ West (32.940240, -87.174982).
According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 8.7 square miles (23 km), of which, 8.7 square miles (23 km) of it is land and 0.11% is water.
As of the census of 2000, there were 4,024 people, 1,150 households, and 779 families residing in the city. The population density was 461.4 people per square mile (178.2/km). There were 1,274 housing units at an average density of 146.1 per square mile (56.4/km). The racial makeup of the city was 48.93% White, 50.02% Black or African American, 0.07% Native American, 0.20% Asian, 0.50% from other races, and 0.27% from two or more races. 0.97% of the population were Hispanic or Latino of any race.

Skateboarding is a leisure activity, a work of art, or a method of transportation. Skateboarding has been designed and influenced by many skateboarders throughout the years. A 2002 survey and study by American Sports Data uncovered there were 18.5 million skateboarders in the world. 85 percent of skaters polled who had used a skateboard in the last year were under the age of 18, and 74 percent were male. Those numbers have since doubled. In the following years the skate parks tripled making it more accessible as privately owned skate parks and indoor skate parks are becoming a reality.

The largest change has been the developed generation that skateboarded in their youth and have grown up with the “X” Games explosion into the global mainstream of competitive sports and sees it as a natural participation sport or art for their children as led by X-Games Athletes who are affiliated and instruct for our brand and web site.
