Boyne City ( /ˈbɔɪn ˈsɪti/) is a city in Charlevoix County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 3,503 at the 2000 census.
Boyne City is at the southeast end of the east arm of Lake Charlevoix, where the Boyne River enters the lake. It is at the corners of four townships, though it is politically independent: Evangeline Township is to the northwest, Melrose Township to the northeast, Boyne Valley Township to the southeast, and Wilson Township to the southwest.
M-75 connects with US 131 twice, at Walloon Lake about 6 miles (9.7 km) to the northeast and at Boyne Falls about 6 miles (9.7 km) to the southeast. County roads run west out of the city along the north and south shores of Lake Charlevoix.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 5.2 square miles (13 km), of which, 3.9 square miles (10 km) of it is land and 1.3 square miles (3.4 km) of it (25.24%) is water.

Be taught all of the fundamentals of skateboarding fast in a one-week camp. We will teach you the principles of skateboarding such as how to balance, push, turn, proper foot placement, and how to stop. Regardless, of where you are at.. you can benefit from personalized instruction to meet your current skill level.

Skateboarding is a pastime activity, an art form, or a method of transportation. Skateboarding has been molded and influenced by many skateboarders throughout the years. A 2002 survey and study by American Sports Data found there are 18.5 million skaters in the world. 85 percent of skaters polled who had used a board in the last year were under the age of 18, and 74 % were male. Those numbers have doubled since then. In the ensuing years the actual locations of skate parks have more than tripled making it more accessible as privately owned skate parks and indoor skate parks are coming into the picture.

The biggest change has been the generation that skated in their youth and have grown up with the “X” Games explosion into the global mainstream of competitive sports and sees it as a natural participation sport for their children as led by X-Games Athletes who are affiliated and instruct for our brand and web site.

How you can start skateboard lessons?

  • Equipment: We recommend a board and a full set of safety gear. This includes: a helmet, elbow pads, knee pads, and wrist guards. Rental equipment is available.
  • Location: We can do lessons in your driveway, in your garage, or at the Boyne City skate park.
