Bogart is a town in Clarke and Oconee counties in the U.S. state of Georgia. The town is mostly in Oconee County, with a portion extending into Clarke County. The population was 1,049 at the 2000 census — 931 of the town’s 1,049 residents (88.8%) lived in Oconee County and 118 (11.2%) in Clarke County. The 30622 ZIP code extends outside the boundary of Bogart into the western portion of Athens, giving some of Athens’ citizens Bogart mailing addresses. The high school is North Oconee High School, and the Middle School is Malcom Bridge Middle School.
Bogart is located at 33°56′54″N 83°32′02″W / 33.948355°N 83.533880°W / 33.948355; -83.533880.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 2.4 square miles (6.2 km), of which, 2.4 square miles (6.2 km) of it is land and 0.42% is water.
As of the census of 2000, there were 1,049 people, 425 households, and 309 families residing in the town. The population density was 441.6 people per square mile (170.2/km²)….

A 2002 report by American Sports Data found that there are 18.5 million skaters in the world. 85 percent of skateboarders polled who had used a board in the most recent year were under the age of 18, and 74 percent were male. Those numbers have doubled since then. In the coming years the skate parks tripled making it more accessible as privately owned skate parks and indoor skate parks are becoming a reality.

The largest change has been the developed generation bubble that skated in their youth and have grown up with the “X” Games explosion into the world wide mainstream of competitive sports and now sees it as a natural participation sport or art for their children led by X-Games Athletes who are affiliated and instruct for our brand and web site.
