Ashby is a town in Middlesex County, Massachusetts, United States. The population was 3,120 as of the 2010 census.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 24.2 square miles (63 km), of which, 23.8 square miles (62 km) of it is land and 0.4 square miles (1.0 km) of it (1.53%) is water.
Ashby is bordered by New Ipswich, New Hampshire and Mason, New Hampshire to the north, Townsend to the east, Lunenburg to the southeast, Fitchburg to the south, and Ashburnham to the west.
As of the census of 2000, there were 2,845 people, 978 households, and 783 families residing in the town. The population density was 119.6 people per square mile (46.2/km²). There were 1,011 housing units at an average density of 42.5 per square mile (16.4/km²). The racial makeup of the town was 98.03% White, 0.28% African American, 0.21% Native American, 0.35% Asian, 0.11% from other races, and 1.02% from two or more races. A 2002 survey and study by American Sports Data uncovered that there were 18.5 million skaters in the world. 85 percent of skaters polled had used a board in the previous year were under the age of eighteen, and 74 % were male. Those numbers have have doubled since the time of the study. In the coming years the actual locations of skate parks tripled making it more accessible as privately owned parks and indoor parks are coming into the picture.

The most significant change has been the generation bubble that skated in their youth and have grown up with the “X” Games explosion into the world wide mainstream of competitive sports and sees it as a participation activity for their children as led by X-Games Athletes who are affiliated and instruct for our brand and web site.
