Amesville ( /ˈeɪmzvɪl/) is a village in Athens County, Ohio, United States, located on Federal Creek. The population was 184 at the 2000 census.
Amesville is located at 39°24′5″N 81°57′18″W / 39.40139°N 81.955°W / 39.40139; -81.955 (39.401497, -81.955134).
According to the United States Census Bureau, the village has a total area of 0.2 square miles (0.52 km), all of it land.
As of the census of 2000, there were 184 people, 70 households, and 52 families residing in the village. The population density was 829.8 people per square mile (322.9/km²). There were 82 housing units at an average density of 369.8 per square mile (143.9/km²). The racial makeup of the village was 95.65% White, 1.09% African American, 1.63% Native American, and 1.63% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 2.17% of the population.

Learn all of the basic principles of skateboarding fast in a one-week camp. We will teach you the basics of skateboarding such as how to balance, push, turn, proper foot placement, and how to stop. In spite, of where you are at.. you can benefit from personalized instruction to meet your skill level.

Skateboarding is a leisure activity, an art form, or a method of transportation. Skateboarding has been shaped and influenced by many skateboarders throughout the years. A 2002 report by American Sports Data discovered there are 18.5 million skateboarders in the world. 85 percent of skaters polled had used a skateboard in the most recent year were under the age of eighteen, and 74 percent were male. Those numbers have have doubled since the time of the study. In the ensuing years the physical locations of skate parks have more than tripled making skateboarding more accessible as privately owned parks and indoor parks are coming into the picture.

The biggest change has been the developed generation bubble that skateboarded in their youth and have grown up with the “X” Games explosion into the global mainstream of competitive sports and now sees it as a participation sport for their children led by X-Games Athletes who are affiliated and instruct for our brand and web site.

  • Equipment: We recommend a board and a full set of safety gear. This includes: a helmet, elbow pads, knee pads, and wrist guards. Rental equipment is available.
