Tim Brauch Memorial Skatepark
22,000 Sq. Ft. of creamy cement goodness. Bowls from 3′ to 9′, larger section kind a like Truckee but larger and deeper, small street area, mainly bowls. looks like good spots for both airborne and coping- instead transfers, transition looks great, coping (for grinding) set nicely, and we finally seem to be taking notes from our neighbors to the north, there’s a small vert here and there. Park is set to open on Sept. 17th. there’s no pics online yet so I can’t Display you anything, but the last set of paramos I have The skate park is tarped anyway. on a related note, thanks Scotts Valley for doing what the fine city of Santa Cruz couldn’t (or wouldn’t) do for us. One more thing, when we skate, they skate never forget.
