The Peak Park Skate Park, a paradise for street skaters, spans over 10,000 square feet and was designed by Purkiss Rose and constructed by Spohn Ranch in 2003. Renovated in 2014 by Spohn Ranch, it replaced the previous wood and concrete park. This skatepark caters to all skill levels and offers a variety of features including rails, ledges, a pyramid/funbox, a tombstone, a pole jam, quarterpipes, a manual pad, metal coping, hubba, and a bank. The park is well-lit for night skating.
Open to the public daily from 8:00 am until dusk, the facility requires safety gear, including helmets, knee pads, and elbow pads. It operates on a "skate at your own risk" basis, emphasizing that the facility is not supervised. Only skateboards and in-line skates are allowed. The Peak Park provides a dynamic and inclusive space for skaters, combining modern design elements with safety precautions for an enjoyable skating experience.
