Mount Vernon Skatepark, Mount Vernon Iowa
This park has a 5-6 Ft. metal half pipe, a street section with some f-up metal tabletops and useless rails unless you boot. The skate park also has a cement roll in and pyramid. The pipes okay but if you like street it’s not The skate park for you F.. The skate park and skate around the collage, it has giant stair sets. Wow. I’ve been to badly built parks but this takes the cake. It has a fI’ve foot mini ramp, but it was a sectional metal one, and they only put one section for the flat bottom, which is like three feet wide, so it is very strange to skate. It also has badly built elements ‘ery where, that are way to steep for their own good. The only redeming feature is it has a sidewalk leading into it, and there is a long round rail going down it. I’d say it’s 2o to 25 feet long, and is really enjoyable. If you get to the town, it’s so small that it’s easy to find, go down the main drag away from Iowa City, and look to the right until you spot it. Then back track to the street and find it. * How Crowded? 1
