Meriden Skatepark - Willie Pep Skate Park
Made of metal, porta putty, two ice cream men that compete with each other and one time we put a dead racoon in the porta putty and the his panic one went rookie on it, Doug Flutie(local hero) lives 4 houses down and uses the porta putty when his house is right there, as far as skate things goes there’s a kink box, 2 flat rails, a pyramid, a fun box a ledge going across and down, a rail going across and down, quarter pipes from 4-7 feet tall, and apparently the most popular thing to skate there is the intense 3 inch high curb that most of the kids skate because the skate park isn’t awesome enough for them and they like to be dangerous, the sign says you got to wear helmets but none ever does, they have a competition there once a year and all kinds of crazy things happen there every day, but the town closes it on holidays and over the winter and it’s 3 years old in my honest opinion this is the best park in Connecticut.
