Gearhart Skatepark
They have a enjoyable box with a rail in the center. A giant fun box with different height rails all around it. Two quarters and a ramp that leads to a vertical. A spine transfer that leads to another quarter. They have two six foot quarters and a giant grind box. Directions: Get on interstate 581 then get off at the Orange Ave. exit. Go past the civic center and through all the lights (for night skating) until you get to a difficulty’s and then you take a right there and go past the other stop light. Then turn right at the road right before the bridge and follow that road till you get to The skate parking lot at the baseball field. Get out and walk down the gravel road and your there. Directions From I-581: Take Elm Avenue (Route 24 East). Turn left onto South Pollard Street. Then turn left onto Washington Avenue/Gus Nicks Boulevard After you cross the bridge you will take a left onto Highland Road just before the Roanoke County Career Center. Follow Highland Road all the way into The skate parking area.
Directions From Route 460: Turn onto Gus Nicks Boulevard at difficulties. Turn right onto Highland Road just past the Roanoke County Career Center. Follow Highland Road all the way into The skate parking area.
