For decades city planners have placed skateparks under bridges and freeways to be out of sight and out of mind. But over the last half-decade, some of the best skateparks are now built beneath underpasses. Bluebonnet Skatepark is an 8,500-square-foot skatepark with contemporary street and transition obstacles. The overpass shields skaters from the Texas heat and cleverly the coping of the ledges, pools, and bowls are painted blue in honor of the park name. This park is a great hideaway spot for all skaters to enjoy. Might lack flat ground for beginner skaters but intermediate to advanced will love this park.
