Our San Francisco camp will be in China Camp state park with is about a 5 minute drive from the expansive McInnis skatepark. At China camp, there is a general store, horseback riding, boating, hiking trails, swimming and wind surfing, fishing, and Geocaching.

Tents are included in the admission price. All you need is a sleeping bag and pillow.

Skate Instruction


Go Skate’s Skateboard Camp offers industry leading skateboard coaching for skaters of all abilities. Through innovative training and proven coaching strategies, our trained staff uses our private parks to work with campers on a one-on-one basis to ensure that their skills are continually improved. Small camper to coach ratios are aimed to benefit each individual camper.

All instructors are GoSkate Certified. Beginners, intermediates, and advanced skaters of all ages will dramatically improve throughout the course of the week.

Daily Schedule

7:00 RISE ”˜N SHINE
Counselors will wake you up to your favorite tunes. Your counselor will announce the daily activities and weather, too, so you’re up to speed on everything that’s happening!

7:15 BREAKFAST
Our Camp’s Head Chef and his Kitchen Crew serves up hot meals in the lodge. After you’ve fueled up for the morning, pack a bag lunch from the lunch buffet and get ready to skate!

8:15 DEPART ON A SKATE TRIP
Check in with your coach, load-up in the skate van and head out to some of the area’s best parks.

9-2:30 SHRED PARTY!
Skate all day with your coaches and friends. Cruise around the city, take in the scenery, and roll around the best parks in the area.

2:30-3 TAKE THE SKATE VAN BACK TO CAMP
Land those last minute tricks, check in with your coach, load up the van, and head back to campus!

3:30 WELCOME BACK TO CAMP
Ahhhh, free time! Feel free to skate more, relax in your cabin, jump on the trampolines, shoot some hoops or play knockout, stretch it out in yoga, or get a snack and catch up with friends in Grizzly Grilled Cheese.

5:00 VIDEO REVIEW
Meet up with your coaching group to watch video footage from the skateparks you skated throughout the day. This time allows you to get some tips on how to progress that next level, and lets you get started thinking about what you want to accomplish the next day.

5:30-7:00 DINNER
Our Crew serves up dinner with a different theme and menu every night. We’ve got something for everyone.

7:00 ACTIVITY TIME
Camp activities are endless! With different activities happening every night, you never run out of options during evening activities

7:30 SKATE CLINIC
Still got some life left in those legs? Good! Coaches session different features each night so you can step up your game by skating and learning with them. Clinics are accessible to skateboarders of all ages and abilities, with special girls-only clinics happening at the same time (sorry boys)!

8:00 SPONSOR NIGHT ACTIVITIES
More activities! Take your chance at winning some new gear in the evenings. Prizes range from decks, trucks, wheels, bearings, shoes, and more during a unique activity each and every night.

8:30 LADIES ONLY ACTIVITIES
Being a girl at Girls Camp has never been so good! Different girls-only activities are available every single night. No boys allowed.

9:00 BONFIRE AND S’MORES
Enjoy summer camp traditions! Pull up a seat around the campfire, line up those ingredients, and lets make some s’mores!

10:00 CURFEW – BACK TO THE CABINS
Time to head back to your cabin/tent. Watch skateboard videos, relax, and call home to brag about how much fun you’re having.

10:30 LIGHTS OUT
Close those eyes and rest up because tomorrow is another action packed day!

Frequently Asked Questions

What do we need to bring for the overnight camp? I see that these are at campgrounds. So do we need to bring tents?
There are a variety of overnight options for each of the camps. Cabins and tent accommodations are available at most camps. If only tents are available at your camp, the tents will be provided. Campers in tents will only need to bring a sleeping bag and pillow. I hope that answers your question!

How many people per cabin or tent?
There will be 3-7 campers per each cabin and 2-5 per each tent, plus one counselor.

Is lunch included for day campers?
We request day campers pack a lunch. Snacks will be provided occasionally. Drinks and water will always be available.
Only overnight campers will get breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks.

What do we need to bring to camp?
Day campers should bring snacks, lunch, and a water bottle. It is recommended that each camper bring a small bag or backpack with their food, sunscreen, skateboard pads, sunglasses, and any other personal items. A skateboard, helmet, elbow pads, and knee pads are required.

Overnight campers should bring a sleeping bag, pillow, swimming suit, sun screen, sun glasses, towel, a backpack for day trips, flash light, bug spray, and a jacket suitable for the rain. A skateboard, helmet, elbow pads, and knee pads are required.

What type of food be included in the overnight camp and will I be able to make a special request for my son who has allergies?
Breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks will be provided daily. The menu varies daily. Breakfast includes options like: oatmeal, cereal, eggs, bacon, juice, bagels, fruit salad etc”¦ Lunch includes sandwiches, cheeseburgers, hot dogs, salad, fries, falafel, and more. Dinners include pasta, chicken parmesan, pizza, four cheese rice, garlic bread, spaghetti and meatballs… and more!

We do accommodate students with allergies and vegetarians.

Is my son too young or inexperienced to go to the overnight camp?
The overnight and daycamps are for ages 7-18. All levels are welcome.

What happens if it rains?
We have partnered with indoor skatepark locations and covered locations that we bring ramps to. Skateboarding will go unaffected and we will simply adjust our schedule. Some of our outdoor activities, like hiking, may be swapped for indoor activities such as watching skate videos or indoor games.

What if something comes up I can’t make the dates that I sign up for today?
You can either delay the enrollment for next summer or move to another open week or another location.
