Tyler is a Burlington, VT native with an incredibly deep passion for skateboarding and in depth knowledge of the states many skateparks. After begging for a Kmart skateboard at 5 years old, he fell in love with the sport and has continued skating at least 3 hours a week for the past 20 years. He has taught skate camps for the Essex Junction Recreation and Parks department and worked with kids and adults of all ages and backgrounds. Tyler is an extremely patient instructor and revels in the delayed gratification of helping a student learn a new maneuver or trick and seeing their excitement at achieving each new accomplishment. Beyond skateboarding experience he is also involved in all sorts of activities from mountain biking to muy thai kickboxing to vinyasa flow yoga and can help promote skateboarding as a part of a healthy and active lifestyle.
