SHERRY KNOWS BOARDS WELL FROM SKATEBOARDING, SURFING, INTERNATIONAL WINDSURFING AND ALPINE SNOWBOARDING!
Sherry has a great sense of balance from nine years of Ballet dancing lessons. She enjoys Skateboarding, Surfing and Windsurfing. She played Soccer for eight years and was a team captain of the school senior Field Hockey team. She has national coaching certification and was a player for the Varsity women’s team at the National University tournament. Two seasons of instructing with the Snow School at Mount Washington involved the application of her national instructor certification. University courses included the Sociology of Sport and the Psychology of Sport. Her main sport involved a provincial team, a national team and the University Games Olympic Class team. When her knowledge about Sport Psych was applied to her main sport she won the Olympic Classes Gold Medal of Sailing. She enjoys speaking with people and has an intuitive sense to communicate effectively so that people can understand.

WHAT CAN SHERRY TEACH?
Sherry can teach balancing on the board, skating along, doing short turns, long turns, the kick flip and ollie tricks. Some of her greatest strengths are her calm patience while instructing an absolute beginner and her depth of understanding about various ways to communicate well. Learning a new Sport is an excellent investment that promotes health, fitness and fun. When she thinks about the opportunity to share knowledge to make the first day great, she sincerely believes that this one experience will improve the student’s enjoyment for years in the future.
