I am passionate about skateboarding because it is both an individual and group sport that teaches respect, support, and encouragement to others as well as expanding athletic skills. Skateboarding requires a lot of focus, patience, and persistence which I find are valuable personal qualities. It also teaches failure, such as falling, which is okay.
