I think I would be a great instructor for skate because I’ve grown up skateboarding my whole life. I was taught by all my sister’s friends as a young child and have grown to be obsessed with the culture watching all the videos and keeping up with new pros and contests. I also have come up like a kid at a few local skateparks and have had the opportunity to show the ropes to some young kids and even adults much older than I. I feel like I’d be a great teacher because I’m very thorough and I would say also advanced in skateboarding. I also know there is a lot of clientele in my area because of how much the kids are starting to take to skateboarding again with a lot of parents supporting it. Teaching skateboarding has always been a dream of mine because skateboarding is my biggest passion since I was about 6 and couldn’t even ride to now, I’ve never once doubted skateboarding or wanted to quit I love it so much and spreading the love of skateboarding would be just amazing. I think skateboard lessons are a must for some kids and when I was growing up the owner of our local shop taught me how to skateboard and I’ve never looked back. I even bought my 4-year-old niece a skateboard and have been teaching her how to ride little by little. I’d love to be able to give the gift of skateboarding to any kids or even adults who want to get into it it’s a great hobby and you meet a lot of people.  I can one hundred percent say I’ve made almost all of my friends through skateboarding and it really becomes a lifestyle at some point that you never want to leave, it’s simply amazing and it keeps kids and others away from the trouble or negative influences in their area because it’s so intriguing that you never want to put your skateboard down once you start getting better.
