I have been working as a teaching assistant for Saint Paul Public Schools for 8 years—the last four years of which have been working specifically with students on the autism spectrum.

For the past year, I have been teaching a longboard/One Wheel class for SPPS’s flipside Afterschool Program. This class is a program I built from the ground up.

I designed the crawl – to – walk curriculum based around rider safety, with an eye towards familiarizing my students with each of the 7 different individual boards I have—short (2’), drop through, dropdown, mid-length, and XL (6’, 6”)—with and without a SUP (Stand Up Paddle).

Beginning in 2020, I also familiarized each of my students individually with One Wheel riding procedures and safety.
