As a skater myself I feel as though it’s great freedom to have, being able to grab your board and go out for a cruise. A true escape. Getting to grips with balance, consistency and patience. Skating helped me get away from a lot of the destruction that was happening around me. 

I started at BYC and I learned how to drop in, drop to fakey and take my time. I finally found a comfortability and confidence, something I strive to give any of my students. 

Teaching my students to feel it and getting to grips with being outside of their comfort zone starting from the ground up. Letting people have the freedom to explore without dictating everything, showing them how to have fun, be confident and let go.
