My main goal would be to begging teaching to have board control while riding after that the sex change come in hand to hand with board control. First trick to teach would be shove it and kickflip with all the variations. Once these is archive I would teach 180 and 360 to make kids learn the fundamentals of rotating the board and move foward from there.
