Ever since I started skateboarding I felt the need to spread it to other people, is that it became such a positive outlet and expression for me. Skateboarding has taught me endless lessons, one being how powerful fear can be and how to overcome it. Sometimes trying a new trick causes mental blocks to form in your head. Mind over matter comes into play here when we see how hard it can be to physically do something when our thoughts are stopping us. Skateboarding teaches us to keep positive and open thoughts going otherwise you won’t have a successful session. I see lots of kids nowadays with more anxiety and mental blocks than ever, and I think that has to do with all the social media/clutter of this Society. Which is why I believe it’s so important to get outside and learn how to work hard for something you are passionate about.

Another lesson I’ve learned through time is learning the nature of falling and getting back up no matter how bad you want to quit. Instead of seeing that slam as a failure, I’ve learned to see it as an opportunity to learn from it and try again!
I’ve always loved helping teach people to learn something, no matter what it is. I think life is all about helping one another, especially with passing along knowledge.
Spending time with kids is one of my favorite things to do! It brings me back to a feeling we all still have in us, that we may lose from time to time in adulthood. Children are the perfect reminder of how to have fun! Which can be found through skateboarding as well.
It’s never too late to learn. As much as I love kids, I also love people. I teach all ages. Skateboarding is something you can carry through your entire life.
I am very patient and calm in my teaching. I understand that learning new tricks can take a lot of time. Everyone’s personal learning experience will be completely unique to them. Some people pick it up naturally, and others might have to work a little bit harder to get to that same level. Either way, there is no right or wrong to the rate at which you are learning. I am critical with small details to help you hone in on exactly what you need to work on. I am 100% positive to give you all the confidence and support you need to succeed.
This form of art has changed my life in purely positive ways. I teach people how to skate in hopes they will have as uplifting and inspiring of an experience as I’m having. I teach them in hopes to create a safe, creative and positive place for them wherever they may be in life. I teach them because I know how life changing this can become for people. Skateboarding is a lifestyle!
