Wisner is a city in Cuming County, Nebraska, United States. The population was 1,270 at the 2000 census.
Wisner is located at 41°59′22″N 96°54′52″W / 41.98944°N 96.91444°W / 41.98944; -96.91444 (41.989498, -96.914532).
According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 1.1 square miles (2.8 km), of which, 1.0 square mile (2.6 km) of it is land and 0.04 square miles (0.10 km) of it (2.83%) is water.
As of the census of 2000, there were 1,270 people, 564 households, and 350 families residing in the city. The population density was 1,229.1 people per square mile (476.1/km²). There were 598 housing units at an average density of 578.8 per square mile (224.2/km²). The racial makeup of the city was 98.35% White, 0.39% African American, 0.16% Native American, 0.24% Asian, 0.16% from other races, and 0.71% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 0.55% of the population.

A 2002 survey and study by American Sports Data uncovered there were 18.5 million skateboarders in the world. 85 percent of skateboarders polled who had used a skateboard in the last year were under the age of 18, and 74 % were male. Those numbers have since doubled. In the coming years the actual locations of skate parks have more than tripled making skateboarding more accessible as publicly and privately owned skate parks and indoor skate parks are coming into the picture.

The biggest change has been the developed generation that skated in their youth and have grown up with the “X” Games explosion into the global mainstream of competitive sports and now sees it as a natural participation activity for their children led by X-Games Athletes who are affiliated and instruct for our brand and web site.

How you can start skateboard lessons?

  • Equipment: We recommend a board and a full set of safety gear. This includes: a helmet, elbow pads, knee pads, and wrist guards. Rental equipment is available.
  • Location: We can do lessons in your driveway, in your garage, or at the Wisner skate park.
