Watauga is a city in Tarrant County, Texas, United States, and a suburb of Fort Worth. The population was 21,908 at the 2000 census.
Watauga is located at 32°52′17″N 97°14′57″W / 32.87139°N 97.24917°W / 32.87139; -97.24917 (32.871416, -97.249122). According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 4.2 square miles (10.8 km²), all of it land.
The city is entirely landlocked by the cities of Keller to the north, Fort Worth to the west, Haltom City to the southwest and North Richland Hills to the south and east. Almost all of the city’s land area is located east of US 377, though a portion extends west of that highway and includes homes and some city offices.
No public transportation operates in Watauga and–like all other cities in Tarrant County except for Richland Hills–it is not a member of the Fort Worth Transportation Authority (The T), having chosen to direct local sales tax option funds elsewhere.

Skateboarding is a recreational activity, a work of art, or a method of transportation. Skateboarding has been shaped and influenced by many skateboarders throughout the ages. A 2002 report by American Sports Data found there are 18.5 million skate boarders in the world. 85 percent of skateboarders polled who had used a board in the previous year were under the age of 18, and 74 percent were male. Those numbers have doubled since then. In the coming years the locations of skate parks tripled making it more accessible as publicly and privately owned parks and indoor parks are coming into the picture.

The largest change has been the generation that skateboarded in their youth and have grown up with the “X” Games explosion into the worldwide mainstream of competitive sports and sees it as a participation sport for their children led by X-Games Athletes who are affiliated and instruct for our brand and web site.
