Wahkon is a city in Mille Lacs County, Minnesota, United States. The population was 206 at the 2010 census.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 1.0 square mile (2.6 km), all of it land.
Minnesota Highway 27 serves as a main route in the community.
As of the census of 2000, there were 314 people, 150 households, and 79 families residing in the city. The population density was 320.7 people per square mile (123.7/km²). There were 256 housing units at an average density of 261.5 per square mile (100.9/km²). The racial makeup of the city was 92.99% White, 5.41% Native American, 0.64% from other races, and 0.96% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 0.96% of the population.
There were 150 households out of which 18.7% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 42.7% were married couples living together, 7.3% had a female householder with no husband present, and 47.3% were non-families. 39.3% of all households were made up…

Is the fear of falling keeping you from progressing? Understand all of the basic principles of skateboarding quickly in a one-week camp. We will show you the principles of skateboarding such as how to balance, push, turn, proper foot placement, and how to stop. Irrespective, of where you are at.. you can benefit from personalized instruction to meet your skill level.

Skateboarding is a leisure activity, an art form, or a method of transportation. Skateboarding has been molded and influenced by many skateboarders throughout the ages. A 2002 survey and study by American Sports Data discovered that there are 18.5 million skateboarders in the world. 85 percent of skateboarders polled had used a board in the last year were under the age of 18, and 74 percent were male. Those numbers have since doubled. In the following years the actual locations of skate parks tripled making it more accessible as publicly and privately owned parks and indoor parks are becoming a reality.

The biggest change has been the generation bubble that skateboarded in their youth and have grown up with the “X” Games explosion into the global mainstream of competitive sports and sees it as a participation sport or art for their children led by X-Games Athletes who are affiliated and instruct for our brand and web site.

    How you can start skateboard lessons?

  • Equipment: We recommend a board and a full set of safety gear. This includes: a helmet, elbow pads, knee pads, and wrist guards. Rental equipment is available.
  • Location: We can do lessons in your driveway, in your garage, or at the Wahkon skate park.
