Vernal is a rural city in Uintah County in northeastern Utah in the United States. It is one of only a few cities in Utah that was not founded by Mormons. The population was 9,089 at the 2010 census. It is the county seat of Uintah County and is about thirty miles west of the Colorado border. The city’s Vernal-Uintah County Airport has scheduled air service to Denver provided by Great Lakes Aviation. Service is subsidized by the Essential Air Service program. Vernal does not have air service to Salt Lake City, the capital of Utah.
Vernal is situated on a two lane highway, US Highway 40, and is the only city in the U.S. of its size that does not have a railway. A major economy of the town is derived from extracting natural resources throughout Uintah County including petroleum, natural gas, phosphate, and uintaite – more commonly known as Gilsonite. Do you want to learn how to skateboard?

Discover all of the basic principles of skateboarding quickly in a one-week camp. We will teach you the principles of skateboarding like how to balance, push, turn, proper foot placement, and how to stop. In spite, of where you are at.. you can benefit from personalized instruction to meet your skill level.

Skateboarding is a recreational activity, an art form, or a method of transportation. Skateboarding has been shaped and influenced by many skateboarders throughout the ages. A 2002 survey and study by American Sports Data discovered that there are 18.5 million skaters in the world. 85 percent of skateboarders polled who had used a skateboard in the most recent year were under the age of eighteen, and 74 % were male. Those numbers have have doubled since the time of the study. In the coming years the locations of skate parks tripled making skateboarding more accessible as privately owned skate parks and indoor skate parks are coming into the picture.

The most significant change has been the generation bubble that skated in their youth and have grown up with the “X” Games explosion into the global mainstream of competitive sports and sees it as a participation activity for their children as led by X-Games Athletes who are affiliated and instruct for our brand and web site.

    How you can start skateboard lessons?

  • Equipment: We recommend a board and a full set of safety gear. This includes: a helmet, elbow pads, knee pads, and wrist guards. Rental equipment is available.
  • Location: We can do lessons in your driveway, in your garage, or at the Vernal skate park.
