Vermontville is a village in Eaton County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 789 at the 2000 census. It is located within Vermontville Township. Vermontville is home to the original maple syrup festival in Michigan, held the last full weekend in April.
Vermontville is served by Maple Valley Schools.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the village has a total area of 1.2 square miles (3.1 km), all land.
As of the census of 2000, there were 789 people, 287 households, and 216 families residing in the village. The population density was 651.8 per square mile (251.8/km²). There were 316 housing units at an average density of 261.1 per square mile (100.8/km²). The racial makeup of the village was 97.21% White, 0.76% Native American, 0.25% Asian, 0.25% from other races, and 1.52% from two or more races. Find out all of the fundamentals of skateboarding fast in a one-week camp. We will show you the basics of skateboarding such as how to balance, push, turn, proper foot placement, and how to stop. Skateboarding is a pastime activity, an art form, or a method of transportation. Skateboarding has been shaped and influenced by many skateboarders throughout the years. A 2002 report by American Sports Data uncovered there were 18.5 million skate boarders in the world. 85 percent of skaters polled who had used a skateboard in the last year were under the age of 18, and 74 % were male. Those numbers have since doubled. In the coming years the skate parks tripled making skateboarding more accessible as privately owned parks and indoor parks are becoming a reality.

The biggest change has been the generation bubble that skated in their youth and have grown up with the “X” Games explosion into the world wide mainstream of competitive sports and now sees it as a natural participation sport or art for their children led by X-Games Athletes who are affiliated and instruct for our brand and web site.

How you can start skateboard lessons?

  • Equipment: We recommend a board and a full set of safety gear. This includes: a helmet, elbow pads, knee pads, and wrist guards. Rental equipment is available.
  • Location: We can do lessons in your driveway, in your garage, or at the Vermontville skate park.
