Twin Valley is a city in Norman County, Minnesota, United States along the Wild Rice River. The population was 821 at the 2010 census.
Minnesota State Highway 32 and County Highway 31 are two of the main routes in the community. Minnesota State Highway 200 is nearby. The Agassiz Recreational Trail passes through Twin Valley.
As of the census of 2000, there were 865 people, 360 households, and 192 families residing in the city. The population density was 987.0 people per square mile (379.5/km²). There were 399 housing units at an average density of 455.3 per square mile (175.1/km²). The racial makeup of the city was 94.68% White, 0.23% African American, 2.54% Native American, 0.58% from other races, and 1.97% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 2.31% of the population.

Skateboarding is a leisure activity, a work of art, or a method of transportation. Skateboarding has been designed and influenced by many skateboarders throughout the ages. A 2002 report by American Sports Data found there are 18.5 million skate boarders in the world. 85 percent of skaters polled had used a board in the previous year were under the age of eighteen, and 74 percent were male. Those numbers have have doubled since the time of the study. In the ensuing years the skate parks tripled making skateboarding more accessible as publicly and privately owned parks and indoor parks are becoming a reality.

The most significant change has been the generation bubble that skated in their youth and have grown up with the “X” Games explosion into the worldwide mainstream of competitive sports and sees it as a natural participation sport for their children as led by X-Games Athletes who are affiliated and instruct for our brand and web site.

Understand all of the basic principles of skateboarding quickly in a one-week camp. We will teach you the basics of skateboarding such as how to balance, push, turn, proper foot placement, and how to stop. No matter, of where you are at.. you can benefit from personalized instruction to meet your skill level.

How you can start skateboard lessons?

  • Equipment: We recommend a board and a full set of safety gear. This includes: a helmet, elbow pads, knee pads, and wrist guards. Rental equipment is available.
  • Location: We can do lessons in your driveway, in your garage, or at the Twin Valley skate park.
