Toxey is a town in Choctaw County, Alabama, United States. At the 2000 census the population was 152.
Toxey is located at 31°54’49.118″ North, 88°18’30.485″ West (31.913644, -88.308468).
According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 0.7 square miles (1.8 km), all of it land.
As of the census of 2000, there were 152 people, 61 households, and 45 families residing in the town. The population density was 221.9 people per square mile (85.1/km²). There were 74 housing units at an average density of 108.0 per square mile (41.4/km²). The racial makeup of the town was 86.84% White and 13.16% Black or African American.
There were 61 households out of which 34.4% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 62.3% were married couples living together, 9.8% had a female householder with no husband present, and 24.6% were non-families. 23.0% of all households were made up of individuals and 14.8% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. Do you want to learn how to skateboard?

Be taught all of the basic principles of skateboarding fast in a one-week camp. We will show you the basics of skateboarding like how to balance, push, turn, proper foot placement, and how to stop. No matter, of where you are at.. you can benefit from personalized instruction to meet your skill level.

Skateboarding is a leisure activity, an art form, or a method of transportation. Skateboarding has been designed and influenced by many skateboarders throughout the years. A 2002 report by American Sports Data discovered there were 18.5 million skate boarders in the world. 85 percent of skaters polled had used a skateboard in the previous year were under the age of eighteen, and 74 % were male. Those numbers have since doubled. In the ensuing years the skate parks tripled making skateboarding more accessible as privately owned parks and indoor parks are becoming a reality.

The most significant change has been the developed generation that skated in their youth and have grown up with the “X” Games explosion into the worldwide mainstream of competitive sports and now sees it as a participation activity for their children as led by X-Games Athletes who are affiliated and instruct for our brand and web site.

How to Start:

  • Equipment: We recommend a board and a full set of safety gear. This includes: a helmet, elbow pads, knee pads, and wrist guards. Rental equipment is available.
  • Location: We can do lessons in your driveway, in your garage, or at the Toxey skate park.
