Sturtevant is a village in Racine County, Wisconsin, United States. The population was 6599 at the 2009 census.
Sturtevant celebrated its 100th anniversary in 2007.
Sturtevant is located at 42°41′56″N 87°53′57″W / 42.69889°N 87.89917°W / 42.69889; -87.89917 (42.698819, -87.899202).
According to the United States Census Bureau, the village has a total area of 3.1 square miles (8.0 km²), all of it land.
The Village of Sturtevant is governed by a six-member board and a village president. The village has a full-time police department.
As of the census of 2000, there were 5,287 people, 1,477 households, and 1,057 families residing in the village. The population density was 1,717.7 people per square mile (662.8/km²). There were 1,521 housing units at an average density of 494.2 per square mile (190.7/km²). Skateboarding is a leisure activity, an art form, or a method of transportation. Skateboarding has been designed and influenced by many skateboarders throughout the ages. A 2002 survey and study by American Sports Data found there are 18.5 million skate boarders in the world. 85 percent of skateboarders polled had used a skateboard in the most recent year were under the age of eighteen, and 74 % were male. Those numbers have doubled since then. In the following years the locations of skate parks have more than tripled making it more accessible as privately owned skate parks and indoor skate parks are becoming a reality.

The largest change has been the developed generation bubble that skated in their youth and have grown up with the “X” Games explosion into the global mainstream of competitive sports and now sees it as a natural participation sport for their children as led by X-Games Athletes who are affiliated and instruct for our brand and web site.

We will teach you the basics of skateboarding like how to balance, push, turn, proper foot placement, and how to stop. How you can start skateboard lessons?

  • Equipment: We recommend a board and a full set of safety gear. This includes: a helmet, elbow pads, knee pads, and wrist guards. Rental equipment is available.
  • Location: We can do lessons in your driveway, in your garage, or at the Sturtevant skate park.
