Sprague is a town in New London County, Connecticut, United States. The town was named after William Sprague, who laid out the industrial section. The population was 2,971 at the 2000 census. Sprague is composed of three villages: Baltic, Hanover, and Versailles.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 13.8 square miles (35.8 km²), of which, 13.2 square miles (34.2 km²) of it is land and 0.6 square miles (1.6 km²) of it (4.41%) is water.
The town hall is located in the Village of Baltic, and was constructed in the 1950s.
As of the census of 2000, there were 2,971 people, 1,111 households, and 797 families residing in the town. The population density was 224.8 people per square mile (86.8/km²). There were 1,164 housing units at an average density of 88.1 per square mile (34.0/km²). Skateboarding is a recreational activity, a work of art, or a method of transportation. Skateboarding has been shaped and influenced by many skateboarders throughout the years. A 2002 report by American Sports Data uncovered that there are 18.5 million skate boarders in the world. 85 percent of skateboarders polled who had used a board in the last year were under the age of eighteen, and 74 % were male. Those numbers have have doubled since the time of the study. In the coming years the physical locations of skate parks tripled making skateboarding more accessible as publicly and privately owned parks and indoor parks are becoming a reality.

The largest change has been the generation that skateboarded in their youth and have grown up with the “X” Games explosion into the world wide mainstream of competitive sports and now sees it as a participation sport for their children led by X-Games Athletes who are affiliated and instruct for our brand and web site.
