Sparks is an American rock and pop band formed in Los Angeles in 1968 by brothers Ron (keyboards) and Russell Mael (vocals), initially under the name Halfnelson. Best known for their quirky approach to songwriting, Sparks’ music is often accompanied by intelligent, sophisticated, and acerbic lyrics, and an idiosyncratic, theatrical stage presence, typified in the contrast between Russell’s wide-eyed hyperactive frontman antics and Ron’s sedentary scowling. Starting with their masterwork, “Lil’ Beethoven” in 2001, the band began performing their albums in their entirety. 2008 saw the band perform all 21 of their albums in successive nights at the Islington Academy and Shepherd’s Bush Empire in London.

Is the fear of falling keeping you from progressing? Study all of the basics of skateboarding quickly in a one-week camp. We will show you the basics of skateboarding like how to balance, push, turn, proper foot placement, and how to stop. Regardless, of where you are at.. you can benefit from personalized instruction to meet your skill level.

Skateboarding is a pastime activity, a work of art, or a method of transportation. Skateboarding has been designed and influenced by many skateboarders throughout the ages. A 2002 report by American Sports Data discovered there were 18.5 million skaters in the world. 85 percent of skateboarders polled had used a board in the most recent year were under the age of eighteen, and 74 % were male. Those numbers have have doubled since the time of the study. In the following years the actual locations of skate parks tripled making skateboarding more accessible as privately owned skate parks and indoor skate parks are coming into the picture.

The biggest change has been the developed generation bubble that skateboarded in their youth and have grown up with the “X” Games explosion into the world wide mainstream of competitive sports and sees it as a natural participation sport or art for their children led by X-Games Athletes who are affiliated and instruct for our brand and web site.

Ability: Beginner through Competition-Style Advanced.

How you can start skateboard lessons?

Equipment: We recommend a board and a full set of safety gear. This includes: a helmet, elbow pads, knee pads, and wrist guards. Rental equipment is available.

Location: We can do lessons in your driveway, in your garage, or at the Sparks skate park.
