Smith Mills is a census-designated place (CDP) in the town of Dartmouth in Bristol County, Massachusetts, United States. The population was 4,432 at the 2000 census.
Smith Mills is located at 41°38′23″N 70°59′4″W / 41.63972°N 70.98444°W / 41.63972; -70.98444 (41.639807, -70.984491).
According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 12.4 km² (4.8 mi²). 12.3 km² (4.7 mi²) of it is land and 0.2 km² (0.1 mi²) of it (1.46%) is water.
As of the census of 2000, there were 4,432 people, 1,861 households, and 1,269 families residing in the CDP. The population density was 361.8/km² (936.9/mi²). There were 1,931 housing units at an average density of 157.6/km² (408.2/mi²). The racial makeup of the CDP was 95.62% White, 0.27% African American, 0.27% Native American, 1.06% Asian, 0.05% Pacific Islander, 1.31% from other races, and 1.42% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 1.33% of the population.

Discover all of the basics of skateboarding quickly in a one-week camp. We will show you the principles of skateboarding such as how to balance, push, turn, proper foot placement, and how to stop. No matter, of where you are at.. you can benefit from individualized instruction to meet your skill level.

Skateboarding is a leisure activity, a work of art, or a method of transportation. Skateboarding has been shaped and influenced by many skateboarders throughout the years. A 2002 survey and study by American Sports Data uncovered that there were 18.5 million skate boarders in the world. 85 percent of skaters polled who had used a board in the previous year were under the age of 18, and 74 percent were male. Those numbers have doubled since then. In the coming years the skate parks tripled making it more accessible as publicly and privately owned parks and indoor parks are becoming a reality.

The biggest change has been the developed generation bubble that skated in their youth and have grown up with the “X” Games explosion into the global mainstream of competitive sports and sees it as a participation sport for their children as led by X-Games Athletes who are affiliated and instruct for our brand and web site.

How you can start skateboard lessons?

  • Equipment: We recommend a board and a full set of safety gear. This includes: a helmet, elbow pads, knee pads, and wrist guards. Rental equipment is available.
  • Location: We can do lessons in your driveway, in your garage, or at the Smith Mills skate park.
