Shevlin is a city in Clearwater County, Minnesota, United States. The population was 176 at the 2010 census.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 0.8 square miles (2.1 km), all of it land.
As of the census of 2000, there were 160 people, 69 households, and 40 families residing in the city. The population density was 201.1 people per square mile (77.2/km²). There were 76 housing units at an average density of 95.5 per square mile (36.7/km²). The racial makeup of the city was 96.25% White, 0.62% Native American, and 3.12% from two or more races.
There were 69 households out of which 33.3% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 46.4% were married couples living together, 4.3% had a female householder with no husband present, and 42.0% were non-families. 33.3% of all households were made up of individuals and 10.1% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. We will teach you the basics of skateboarding like how to balance, push, turn, proper foot placement, and how to stop. In spite, of where you are at.. you can benefit from personalized instruction to meet your skill level.

Skateboarding is a pastime activity, a work of art, or a method of transportation. Skateboarding has been designed and influenced by many skateboarders throughout the ages. A 2002 survey and study by American Sports Data uncovered there are 18.5 million skaters in the world. 85 percent of skaters polled who had used a skateboard in the last year were under the age of eighteen, and 74 percent were male. Those numbers have since doubled. In the ensuing years the physical locations of skate parks tripled making skateboarding more accessible as privately owned skate parks and indoor skate parks are becoming a reality.

The most significant change has been the generation bubble that skateboarded in their youth and have grown up with the “X” Games explosion into the global mainstream of competitive sports and now sees it as a natural participation sport for their children led by X-Games Athletes who are affiliated and instruct for our brand and web site.

  • Equipment: We recommend a board and a full set of safety gear. This includes: a helmet, elbow pads, knee pads, and wrist guards. Rental equipment is available.
  • Location: We can do lessons in your driveway, in your garage, or at the Shevlin skate park.
