Sharon Hill is a borough in Delaware County, Pennsylvania, United States. The population was 5,468 at the 2000 census.
Sharon Hill is located at 39°54′23″N 75°16′16″W / 39.90639°N 75.27111°W / 39.90639; -75.27111 (39.906340, -75.271008).
According to the United States Census Bureau, the borough has a total area of 0.8 square miles (2.1 km), all of it land.
As of the census of 2000, there were 5,468 people, 2,091 households, and 1,390 families residing in the borough. The population density was 7,191.7 people per square mile (2,777.9/km²). There were 2,246 housing units at an average density of 2,954.0 per square mile (1,141.0/km²). The racial makeup of the borough was 71.07% White, 24.80% African American, 0.09% Native American, 1.52% Asian, 0.04% Pacific Islander, 0.49% from other races, and 1.99% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 1.06% of the population.

Skateboarding is a leisure activity, a work of art, or a method of transportation. Skateboarding has been shaped and influenced by many skateboarders throughout the years. A 2002 survey and study by American Sports Data found there were 18.5 million skateboarders in the world. 85 percent of skateboarders polled had used a skateboard in the most recent year were under the age of 18, and 74 % were male. Those numbers have since doubled. In the following years the skate parks tripled making it more accessible as privately owned skate parks and indoor skate parks are coming into the picture.

The largest change has been the generation that skated in their youth and have grown up with the “X” Games explosion into the worldwide mainstream of competitive sports and now sees it as a participation sport for their children led by X-Games Athletes who are affiliated and instruct for our brand and web site.
