Scottsburg is a city in Vienna Township, Scott County, Indiana, United States, about 30 miles (48 km) north of Louisville, Kentucky. The population was 6,747 at the 2010 census. The city is the county seat of Scott County. As of 2010, William H. Graham serves as Mayor and has served since 1988.
Scottsburg is located at 38°41′7.3″N 85°46′10.55″W / 38.685361°N 85.7695972°W / 38.685361; -85.7695972 (38.685361, -85.769597).
According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 4.8 square miles (12 km), of which, 4.8 square miles (12 km) of it is land and 0.21% is water.
As of the census of 2000, there were 6,040 people, 2,539 households, and 1,604 families residing in the city. The population density was 1,257.2 people per square mile (485.8/km²). There were 2,823 housing units at an average density of 587.6 per square mile (227.1/km²). The racial makeup of the city was 98.34% White, 0.07% African American, 0.28% Native American, 0.28% Asian, 0.26% from other races…

We will teach you the basics of skateboarding like how to balance, push, turn, proper foot placement, and how to stop. In spite, of where you are at.. you can benefit from personalized instruction to meet your current skill level.

Skateboarding is a leisure activity, a work of art, or a method of transportation. Skateboarding has been shaped and influenced by many skateboarders throughout the years. A 2002 survey and study by American Sports Data discovered there were 18.5 million skateboarders in the world. 85 percent of skateboarders polled had used a skateboard in the last year were under the age of 18, and 74 percent were male. Those numbers have since doubled. In the ensuing years the skate parks tripled making skateboarding more accessible as publicly and privately owned parks and indoor parks are coming into the picture.

The largest change has been the generation bubble that skateboarded in their youth and have grown up with the “X” Games explosion into the world wide mainstream of competitive sports and now sees it as a participation activity for their children as led by X-Games Athletes who are affiliated and instruct for our brand and web site.

How to Start:

  • Equipment: We recommend a board and a full set of safety gear. This includes: a helmet, elbow pads, knee pads, and wrist guards. Rental equipment is available.
  • Location: We can do lessons in your driveway, in your garage, or at the Scottsburg skate park.
