Santa Clarita is the fourth largest city in Los Angeles County, California, United States and the twenty-fourth largest city in the state of California. The 2010 US Census reported the city’s population grew 16.7% from the year 2000 to 176,320 residents. It is located about 35 miles (56 km) northwest of downtown Los Angeles, and occupies most of the Santa Clarita Valley. It is a notable example of a U.S. edge city or boomburb. Santa Clarita was ranked as number 18 of the top 100 places to live by Money magazine in 2006.

OUR SKATEBOARD INSTRUCTOR

Chris H. from Burbank, California!

I can teach plenty of tricks on rails, stairs, manny pads, ledges, & banks. I can pretty much skate anything except mini ramps.

Cody M. from Valley Village, California!

With a long history and love of skateboarding. I have always loved skateboarding and started doing it more seriously around the age of 12-13. At 27 and my love for skateboarding is still the same, although my skills have improved so much since then. Skateboarding is an amazing way to clear your mind, have fun, stay healthy and be social all at the same time. It teaches you many values of life, the primary being that when you fall down, the best thing to do is get back up and try again. Experience skating in many different street-style environments, and many games of skate are logged in the books. When you challenge yourself by competing with others, it helps you grow as a skater because it forces you to try new tricks that you might not have otherwise. Love to help people learn how to skate. Whenever at the skate park, there are usually a few younger skaters that will come up and ask how to do a particular trick. Gladly do your best to help these kids learn the tricks they want and have even seen improvement in just a few minutes of them trying whatever technique is recommended

LEARN SKATEBOARDING IN A TWO WEEK-LONG CLASS

Skateboarding is a recreational activity, a work of art, or a method of transportation. Skateboarding has been molded and influenced by many skateboarders throughout the ages. A 2002 report by American Sports Data discovered there were 18.5 million skateboarders in the world. 85 percent of skaters polled who had used a skateboard in the previous year were under the age of 18, and 74 % were male. Those numbers have doubled since then. In the ensuing years the locations of skate parks tripled making it more accessible as publicly and privately owned parks and indoor parks are coming into the picture. The most significant change has been the developed generation that skateboarded in their youth and have grown up with the “X” Games explosion into the worldwide mainstream of competitive sports and sees it as a natural participation sport for their children led by X-Games Athletes who are affiliated and instruct for our brand and web site.
