San Luis is the capital city of San Luis Province in the Cuyo region of Argentina.
San Luis lies at the feet of the Sierras Grandes, along the northern bank of the Chorrillos River, and is set in a Dry Pampas plateau around 730 m (2,400 ft) above sea level.
Points of interest in the city include the Park of the Nations, the neoclassical cathedral, a number of museums including the Dora Ochoa De Masramón Provincial Museum, and the colonial architecture. A number of landmarks honor the Argentine War of Independence, as well. Independence Park features an equestrian monument to General José de San Martín, liberator of Argentina, Chile and Perú. Nearby Pringles Plaza honors Colonel Juan Pascual Pringles, one of San Martín’s chief adjutants and, briefly, Governor of San Luis Province.

Do you want to learn how to skateboard?

Study all of the basic principles of skateboarding fast in a one-week camp. We will show you the basics of skateboarding like how to balance, push, turn, proper foot placement, and how to stop. Regardless, of where you are at.. you can benefit from customized instruction to meet your skill level.

Skateboarding is a leisure activity, an art form, or a method of transportation. Skateboarding has been designed and influenced by many skateboarders throughout the years. A 2002 report by American Sports Data found that there were 18.5 million skateboarders in the world. 85 percent of skaters polled had used a skateboard in the previous year were under the age of 18, and 74 % were male. Those numbers have since doubled. In the ensuing years the skate parks tripled making it more accessible as publicly and privately owned skate parks and indoor skate parks are becoming a reality.

The largest change has been the developed generation bubble that skateboarded in their youth and have grown up with the “X” Games explosion into the global mainstream of competitive sports and now sees it as a natural participation sport or art for their children led by X-Games Athletes who are affiliated and instruct for our brand and web site.

  • Equipment: We recommend a board and a full set of safety gear. This includes: a helmet, elbow pads, knee pads, and wrist guards. Rental equipment is available.
  • Location: We can do lessons in your driveway, in your garage, or at the San Luis skate park.
